Persist was honored to create a new brand for the primary organization, Black Feminist Future, tasked with creating a brand the represents the richness, vibrancy, and depth of Black feminist organizing work.
The BFF brand we created is an ode to the Black Womxn of the past, present, and future, presenting the beauty of Black Womxn as a primary design element, and choosing rich, contrasting, and vibrational colors representing past, present, and future of the organizing work and the passional folx who have charged the way.
The BFF website serves as a political hub focused on the dynamic possibilities of galvanizing the social and political power of Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people towards liberation.
Redesigning the BFF website allowed us to create a whole universe using the richness of the new BFF brand. We blended high design with purposeful technology to create a space for the BFF team to recruit members and activists, create programming, and push out resources to the larger community.
